2010 BOM

Last year I found some fun projects to work on:

I hopped over to California and found Bunny Hill and did her "A Tisket A Tasket" That turned out cute and made a great gift.

Then I really hopped and went to Sweden over to Ellie's Place and did her "Country Calendar" which I'm using at home.

Then I hopped over to Australia and found Harmony Village and put together a fun quilt.

This year I wanted to find a couple of projects to work on and stayed pretty close to home the quilt group that I go to, decided to work on "Safe Haven" which is turning out very cute. I might even keep this one for myself.

But then I did some blog hopping and found two fun projects:

The first is Wisconsin Quilt Blocks on Barns by Jen Buettner. Her link is over on my side bar.

This is a Block of the Week (BOW) and it will run for 84 weeks. The blocks are 6" finished and most will be paper pieced.

I have January's blocks done take a look....

I plan to print the block each week and then do them all at once. The great part is this project will use up scraps and just maybe my scrap box will be empty by the end of the project. (I can always hope) ;o}

I found another BOM this one is from Ohio and will be a barn quilt. I will be working on the block soon and give more info then.

Hope you have a great day. :o}
