I like to challenge myself every so often, just to try new things or take on a new technique. It kinda of gets me out of my comfort zone a little. Well this year I extended the challenge to Sheri over @ thisoldbatt. Now Sheri is a good friend we often give each other a hard time. The best way to describe Sheri is arts'ee (I know that's not the right spelling but you get the idea.) She calls herself a "type Zzzz". And then there's me a tightly wound "type A". I like to get in and get the project done and move on to the next. ;o}
So here's the challenge:
We make a king size top to be used for one the quilts that we do for church.
Now that might not sound too hard right? Well, this is where the challenge comes in. I made the center and passed it on to Sheri. Now she will add the next 10" border, when done she will send it back to me and I will add a 10" border and then back to her. Until the quilt is approximately 100" square.

We did something similar as a round robin for my family, there were five of us...it was alot of fun and the quilt turned out so cute. Can't wait to see yours.
You two crack me up! ;o) Very cool though. Well I meant the quilt. But you two are as well. ;o)
What a cool idea! I can't wait to see how it turns out.
How fun! But a little bit scary, too. lol. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.
Surprise!!! It's back to you now. I may be type Zzzz but I know when the pressure (challenge) is on.
Well if the centre is anything to go by it's going to be great , love it !
