Sunday bag

I have a Sunday bag that I use to take well Sunday things to church. I have used the same bag for the last 2 or 3 years. It has held up well -- However, I'm ready for a change.

This is the current bag. Yes, it's a Bow tuck by Penny Sturges. And it seems that everyone has a bag like this one. ;o]

So I decided to look through my patterns and fabric for something a little different. I went with the pattern Boutique Shoulder bag by Bella Nonna -- take a look.

I like the fabric and it turned out cute. But, when I loaded it up with scriptures and stuff I just didn't like it. So I put it in the pile for the Bishop's Storehouse to be used for Christmas gifts for others. :o}

And tried again.... This next bag really caught my eye and I had to give it a try.

Take a look..

The pattern is called Sausalito (isn't there a cookie named sausalito?) by A Quilters Dream.
I really like this bag, it's more my style. And when I put Scriptures and stuff in, everything fits just perfect. This one will work for the next year or so....

Hope you have a great day. :o}

I love all 3 bags - LOL! But I can see why a rectangular bag would work better for papers and books. I just love the black accent on the bag - not over the top, but stylish.

Regena.. That is a great looking bag. My church bag sure is an ugly thing. Perhaps I need a change too!
