schnibbles project 4

Project #4 is done and it was a fun easy project. (Easy to get carried away.)
I bought the pattern from The Fat Quarter Shop. They were just as fast as ever getting the pattern to me. :o}

I made the first two from the pattern -- one of the suggestions was to use crushed walnut shells for the stuffing. So I went out and found a bag. The shells give the tuffet a nice feel.

And then I thought I will try this...

And made the next three.

And then I thought why not use up the Half square triangles that I have left over. ;o] -- (ok here is a confession: when I made "the picnic" I read the instructions and interpreted them wrong and made way toooooo many HST)

So I made these.... ;o]

They make great little gifts and are fun to give away. (I made kits and put them on my esty -- each kit has a bag of the walnut shell for stuffing if you want to give them a try without buying a 7lb bag -- you will need to purchase the pattern separately)

I'll bet you can't just make one. :o}

Hope you have a great day. :o}

That's so funny! I made five Truffets AND THEN while dinking around I made another half dozen in two different sizes. I have been hand stitching a blanket stitch all the way around the cushion to seal it and give it a different look.
