A Friendly Quilt Challenge part 2

As I mention in an earlier post I challenged Sheri to help me with a quilt, I made the center and gave it to her on Fri (6-26). I really thought it would take her awhile to do her round. But no, she got a bee in her bonnet and called me on Tues (6-30) and said I'm done. Wow! I like what she did. Sheri put a round of log cabin blocks I think it looks great.

Now for my turn, I will admit it took me a little longer to do my round. I had a quilt job with a dead line that needed to be done first. Once that was done I started my round, I had a couple of ideas floating around in my head but when I saw the quilt I decided to do something completely different. I found a block called farmer's market. So I made 28 blocks and this is what it looks like.

I think this project is turning out great and I'm happy to say I will be taking this back to Sheri tomorrow (7-9). I wonder if she still has that bee in her bonnet? :o}

Hope you have a great day. :o}
