The person that I have been given likes Civil War era fabrics as well as Aunt Grace fabrics.
So I started looking through my books for ideas on what to do. I found a pattern and now have a plan. I not going to tell just yet, what I'm going to do, but thought I would let you see the fabrics I picked out. I might have enough for two projects -- I might wind up making two, one for giving away and one to keep :o}
Just as a side note on Friday Sheri (this old batt) and I went visiting. We have three friends that we visit on a regular basis. After we finished visiting, we met up with are friend Pat and went to lunch. The only thing is I told Pat we would do lunch and then go to Fabric Depot and I only told Sheri we would be doing lunch. Sooo Sheri was a little grumpy with me when we told her on the spot what the plan was. She said I don't need any fabric -- but OK lets go (it didn't take much to twist her arm). So when we got there Pat starts looking for fabric for her projects (I sew for her, so more projects for me) and I go off and start looking for the fabrics I need for my project. I come back to meet up with Pat and Sheri, only to find Sheri with a cart full of fabrics. ;o} we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the day. :o}
I hope you have a great day. :o}
