when I give a gift I like to come up with a gift that will be the same for each person. (that way I don't have to think about it) over the years I have changed my gifts -- for a very long time I gave bibs made from hand towels with applique pictures on the front. -- then I gave quilts -- and now my gift has changed again. In June I joined in on a quilted basket swap I liked the basket so I decided to make quilted baskets and fill them with diapers. (the pattern is from Greta Gram' blog)
I decided to change the pieced panel every so often
I did a 9 patch on this one.
This basket went to a sweet little girl.
(I know it's pink)
I had so much red, blue and white fabric I made up
two baskets ready to give away.

Oh....I gotta make those boots.....love all of your bags!!
What a great idea! Lots of babies arriving around here as well. Your baskets are darling and those boots! Must order those boots. We ranch and I know 4 people that are expecting and 4 more that just had babies and these boots are perfect! Are they difficult to make?
I love the idea of the baskets and those boots are too cute.
Great ideas - love those boots - just too cute!
Pink!!!!! Are you feeling OK? I guess I need to find you more pink fabric.
Love the idea of a gift 'basket' and the boots are too cute.
